The Campground may be closed for the season, but the fun doesn't end; this Winter, Ranger Scott and Ranger Mike have planned some really cool (pun intended) snowshoe nature hikes. Join Ranger Mike Rominger at the Plumas-Eureka State Park Museum for a 1-hour snowshoe walk and activity discussing winter survival. Please bring your own snowshoes, wear weather-appropriate layed clothes and meet at the museum. For more information, call the park at (530) 836-2380.

LONGBOARD SKI RACES 2009
The historic Longboard Ski races are scheduled for Jan 18th, Feb 15th and March 15th, weather permitting. Races for the men and women will begin at 1:00pm. There are warm-up runs prior to the races, food and souvenirs.
