Volunteer/Docent Activities
Typically we start planning for summer at “The Park” in the Spring. We always have a full schedule of activities with some new approaches to our interpretive programs and we look forward to welcoming back our fantastic docents and volunteers.
This year, more than ever, Plumas Eureka State Park will rely on volunteers to stay open. If you love Plumas Eureka State Park, please find out how you can help. We realize not everyone has the time to make a huge volunteer commitment; come see what might work for your schedule. Whether it's an occasional hour, helping distribute flyers for Gold Discovery Days or a weekly assignment to work at the gift counter, you can make a difference in supporting Plumas Eureka State Park.

>>>9:30 - 12:00 New volunteers will enjoy a history of Plumas Eureka State Park and details about how rewarding it is to be a PESPA volunteer. Some minor paperwork to fill out, but the Rangers always keep it fast and fun.
>>>12:00 - 1:00 Lunch provided - enjoy the lovely scenery and get to know new volunteers!
>>>1:00-3:00 New and returning volunteers get updated about plans for the year
2010 Gold Discovery Days
Sat and Sun - July 17-18th (the same weekend as the crafts fair). Reserve this date and bring your family and friends - PESP needs your support!

MEMBERSHIPS:
If you wish to become a PESPA member, just email us at pespa@digitalpath.net. There are four different levels available and may be applied for in the same way as donations are made:
Single membership - $25/year
Family membership - $35.00/year
Business membership - please inquire pespa@digitalpath.net

Opportunities to participate in Park activities and projects
A PESPA bumper sticker to show your support
Tell a Friend or Business about PESPA
Give a tax-deductible membership as a gift, or invite a friend or business to join PESPA.
DONATIONS:
Your tax deductible donations are both welcome and encouraged. You may make a donation by sending a check or making your donation in person at the Museum store at the Park
Donations are combined with proceeds from the Gift Shop and other special events and remain within the Park where they are used by the Plumas Eureka State Park Association (PESPA) to support its primary function of interpretation and education programs and projects.
