Volunteer/Docent Activities
This year, more than ever, volunteers and docents are needed to provide visitors and campers with an experience they will long remember. What can you do? You can help staff the museum store, become a blacksmith and dazzle kids with your smithy skills, lead hikes and bird walks or help with the Junior Ranger Program. Training is provided. Call Lyn at 530-836-1182 or via e-mail at [email protected] to find out more about volunteer opportunities. We realize not everyone has the time to make a huge volunteer commitment; come see what might work for your schedule. Whether it's an occasional hour, helping distribute flyers for Gold Discovery Days or a weekly assignment to work at the gift counter, you can make a difference in supporting Plumas Eureka State Park.
